Can you live the Simple Life?

Is it really as easy to just seek shelter, food, water and medicine?  We work so hard at getting all the “trappings” of life.  Does it bring peace?  Does it bring happiness?

I love this Ted Talk.  This guy is living proof that there is peace when we choose to live the simple life.

I think the most difficult part of it all is taking the plunge.  Could you do it?  What would it take?

Enjoyed the video. It should be required viewing for all the people who think they need the latest and greatest of everything. I had a conversation with my sister once about her feelings of “needing” so many things and “enough” money. She has lots of both and is miserable. I just have the basics and enough to get by on, and I am happy and enjoy my life more than she can imagine. But, I have friends and family who are important to me, and best of all, I like me. But, to many people, I am not successful in life.

All I can say is brilliant. If there was ever one last thing to be said on earth before everyone went deaf, this is it.
