We are an entertained society.  Partly because we have it so easy in so many areas of our life, food, water and shelter is easy to come by.  “Easy” leaves time for fun!  As preparedness minded people, we love to watch those apocalyptic, survival type movies.  It’s research! 😉 LOL

I love finding lists of apocalyptic/survival movies.  I usually find movies that I haven’t heard about.

I would like to hear from the preparedness community about some of the best survival movies you’ve seen or would recommend…for entertainment/research! 😉  Leave a comment to share some of your favorites.

To get us started, I have listed a few lists below.

The Omega Man. Love the movie. Parents used to leave me alone when I was a kid, so I watched movies. The Omega Man left a huge impression on me. I think this is one of the reasons I became a prepper even before we had a name. God Bless.

For Me it is “Panic in the Year Zero”. I saw this movie when it came out, and I think it is what started me on the road to prepping. I have since purchased the DVD. The promotion, “A desperate family forced to choose Morality vs Mortality”.

Covers all the bases in a realistic not rediculous way. Check it out. I ordered it on Amazon after seeing it at a Prepping Event. You will see something new each time you watch it. It is great for food for thought.
